All Change

After taking on the choir in April 2017, I have had a marvellous time pretending to be a Music Director. Overall, I think I made a good fist of it, and I had a ball in the process. However, I have become aware that I have given all I can, and staying in front would only keep the choir marching in place.

Over the years, we sang, we socialized, we entertained on occasion, and no one wants it to end. So, we are on a quest to find a new Music Director. Preferably someone local who would like to try their hand at leading a choir. They should be musically adept—and willing to do the job for peanuts—but no experience is necessary.

I am not abandoning the choir, and will, instead, re-join as the tenor section, and give what support is required to the new director.
