    On the 13th of May the choir had its first public performance, on the bandstand in the Carfax in Horsham.

    It was a good first outing. Nice weather, a friendly crowd and a local venue. The choir performed seven songs–a mix of show tunes, folk, classics from the 1950/60s and a modified sea shanty.

    The choir performed marvelously. Even though we numbered only 14 (or 15 including me) we produced a good sound and everyone had a good time.
